Sadly you were right. Not the best place for a nest with too many predators around.
Unfortunately, yes. Currently emptying the SD card on the trail camera, we'll find out the culprit.
It was an opossum, I'm not going to show the videos. Was heartbreaking to watch mother duck return, and more than once. Still the pink hue to the video, so not sure what's up with that.
So sad.
Now have our camera, same as yours. Pic quality so far is good, but nothing worth showing yet. Had an email form the manufacturer saying, any problems, within a year, they will replace without question. Do you get the same warranty in the US?
No email from the maker either direct or through Amazon, but I'm sure it had some kind of warranty, surely expired by now. Good luck, I look forward to hearing what you think of it.
