A look up the roads of our horseshoe where the work is to be done. The street by the creek isn't getting done, but links the two that are and provides storage. It's also part of the bike path that has been detoured though is still used.
And the water levels of the creek are still very high, and pretty stagnant, so the lakes further downstream are still high.

It's interesting to see how they are doing things.
Hopefully they will work quickly and do a good job.
We still have the bridge closed, roadworks on a major road junction near us and just for fun, they have installed temporary traffic lights on our road for major works on a side road! It was fun trying to get out yesterday.
Wow. Blogger seems to have updated so this comment section looks different. Do you see it now, too? Different format, option of getting notified of follow-up comments, and now I have the option to reply to individual comments, it appears. I'll test it with each of yours.
This is at the end of work, so things are tidier than during the day Mon-Sat.
Thank you. And yes, we are (finally) starting to plan ahead. More groceries and goods to be bought now rather than when we have to lug them a few blocks home. Including ordering another quarter cow this morning to hopefully get sooner than later. They said 4 weeks which usually means 1 to 3.
I feel your pain with the temporary lights. I've had that all summer at about 8 intersections along my way to work and back, because of the rapid bus line construction. Maybe a good rant post for the future. I hope your works get completed sooner than later, as our own here.
That works, might be cool. But it worked well for my purposes before, too.
Sorry, delcatto, that reply was more about me and my one track mind. I hope your works are completed soon, I know you've had some kind of construction all around you for a long time now.
I prefer sequential comments. Another Blogger style over substance. And it means one has to input one's details again on every site where one comments.
Yes, seeing the new format. I'm not sure what to think of it but suffering a summer cold so under the weather here.
Sorry to hear, hope you feel better soon. I think I liked it better before, but shouldn't matter much, I hope.
