Yes, perfect respite from the daily problems of the world, and such. And I may do it again tonight for an hour or two. It's just so nice and so easy to do now. A little wood, a nice chair with the back pillow, a stiff drink and some good background music. Most importantly, the calmness.
And I saw bats that night. I still have hope of getting bats in the bat house I put up.
I'm over 50, married and child-free. My wife and I have a home not far from downtown Madison, Wisconsin, since 2009. I like music, taking pictures and good humor - plus writing about it all here. I am still not on farcebook or other social media, only Blogger and YouTube. Email me at scoakatsblog@gmail.com. I check it every so often.

Nice. I need one of those.
Thank you, Grayjohn. I highly recommend it!
Lovely peace and quiet with a great fire pit. Chilled beer and chilled out. Perfect.

Your Fire pit turned out quite nice. You did good! Next time your mom and I are in Madison, we might just stop in with some wood!
Thanks, Dan! I think I'll have the wood thing taken care of soon. Just got internet back, posting in a few minutes.
