I know I've posted the last tiger lily to bloom more than once in years past. Here's this season's last, under a towering, aging sunflower.
The weather has been cool here recently. For long enough now to feel like fall is actually here already.

Yes, feeling distinctly cooler at night now and the leaves are turning.
We got one this year finally! Love it!
I've not noticed leaves turning here yet. We have a warmer trend coming for a bit now, but once it turns cooler again I don't think we'll get that back again this year.
Hi Sis! Mom talks about the ones in Dixon and I remember them well, and I can't say that's not a part of why I like ours now.
