On Friday it got up to 50ºF, while today and tomorrow will hover just above and below 0ºF.

Before last winter I got a warming pad for the cats, and they do seem to appreciate it. Often.

Scoakat said...: I got a text last night that work today was canceled, thankfully. Currently -1º and we should peak at 1ºF in an hour or so.

Mostly homeless shelters, delcatto. This is planned for and there is space available so if they're still out there in this weather it's mainly by choice.

Despite the weather it is sunny and we took advantage and went out to lunch, just getting home a bit ago. It is extreme but not unheard of here, so life goes on.; January 21, 2025 at 2:51 PM
